Graffiti and the T-shirt

When people think of graffiti, some will think of the artwork they see on walls of buildings or fences along the street and others will think of the words that they read in the stalls of public or school bathrooms. The question is, would you wear the artwork or the sentiment on a T-shirt? Graffiti tee shirts have become very popular. Some of these cool t-shirts even carry a sentiment or phrase.

These types of flamboyant T-shirts tend to scare some people. Mainly because what you wear reflects your personality in one way or another. Whether it is jeans and a T-shirt or business suit and tie, it represents your personality.

T-shirts can reveal a much deeper level to your personality as well. For example, a sports T-shirt may give people the idea that you are into sports or fitness. Following this train of thought, if you were to wear a shirt that said, “Are you easy? I am!”, may make people think you are looking for promiscuous men or women.

Today, you can find people of any age with some kind of commentary on their T-shirts. Some will make you laugh, some will give you ideas and others are supposed to make a person seem tough. Today, age has nothing to do with T-shirts anymore. The thing today is whether people are willing to express themselves with clothing or not.

However, there is always someone who is willing to share his or her thoughts on a T-shirt. Expressing oneself is extremely important in today’s modern world. Without expression, there would not be any art or music to appreciate. That would mean there would be no music T-shirts or graffiti t shirts for us to wear.
